A series of brains chosen from the Stoke Park Collection formed a demonstration designed to show:? 1. The rate of growth of the normal human brain during the first few months and years of life. 2. The complete failure of the defective brain to achieve such normal growth, and 3. The additional occurrence amongst defectives of cerebral malformations of pre-natal origin and peculiarly gross kind. To give the best ocular demonstration of the foregoing objectives six brains were exhibited in each group in three horizontal and parallel series, as follows :?
